This leads inland from Padstow along the Camel Valley through neighbouring towns of Wadebridge and Bodmin.
Following the route of a disused railway line it is perfectly flat, and ideal for all the family. Cycles for all ages can be hired either from Padstow, Wadebridge or Bodmin.
Both Padstow and Wadebridge have marvellous old fashioned picture houses - a sharp contrast to the modern cinema and worth a visit on a rainy day.

Starting from Padstow there is the rocky beach and bore hole at Trevone with its natural sea pool.
Harlyn Beach is 2 minutes walk from Polmark House. From here the coastal path winds round to Mother Ivy's Bay and on to Booby's and Constantine Bay. 20 minutes further on you will find Treyarnon and finally Porthcothan.
Some 3 miles further along the coast lies the National Trust beauty spot of Bedruthan steps and beyond that Watergate Bay and Newquay (15miles)

Harlyn Bay is surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty on the picturesque north Cornish coast.
Just a few miles away is the quaint old fishing village of Padstow. Take time to explore the harbour and shops before enjoying a meal at one of many restaurants/bistros which adorn Padstow's narrow streets.
You can walk to Padstow along the coastal path, drive or use the bus that stops 2 minutes from Polmark House
Eating out locally ranges from the carvery or a la carte of the Harlyn Inn occasionally with live music (2 mins walk) or nearby St.Merryn (15 mins walk) with its pubs, wine bar ,restaurants and takeaway fish & chips, Indian and Thai/Chinese

Golf
There are 2 of the southwests championship courses within a short drive. On the doorstep is Trevose Golf Club, host to the Brabazon in 2008, which has the championship and two 9 hole courses. Across the estuary is the championship course of St Enodoc with the quaint church on the course...Sir John Betjemen's final resting place
If the purpose of your visit is a golf tour speak to the owners who will be happy to make arrangements on your behalf. Other nearby courses include Bowood, Llanhyrock,Newquay, Merlin and Perranporth.
Further along the coast lie the popular beaches of Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath
The awe-inspiring outline of Truro's gothic cathedral dominates the
skyline of this picturesque city. Call in for a short tour or evensong.
Cornwall's county town is well worth a visit for its shops, museums, restaurants, theatre, boat trips etc.
St. Ives with its small galleries and of course the Tate are worth a visit - drive to Hayle and catch the coastal train which winds between the dunes and sands of Carbis bay into St Ives.
The south coast is also easy to reach with the Eden project (40 mins) and St. Just in Roseland, St.Mawes and of course, the King Harry ferry.
The National Trust has many houses and gardens within the area. Sites worh a visit include Trerice, Llanhydrock, Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trelissick .
The Lizard and the Minack theatre are just over an hour away.
